Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to provide psychological services in Fairfield, just a 35 minute drive from Davis,for the upcoming school year. This full-time role will involve 37.5 hours per week, working directly with students in regular and special education programs. You will play a key role in helping meet the social, emotional, and educational needs of students across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments of students.
- Provide counseling services to students in need of emotional and behavioral support.
- Develop recommendations regarding the evaluation and placement of students.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, specialists, agency personnel, district staff, and parents to support student development.
- Assist in the creation and coordination of behavior management programs.
- Offer consultation and psychological services to schools to foster a supportive learning environment.
Caseload:
The exact caseload will be discussed during the interview.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential or equivalent authorizing service as a School Psychologist.
- Active state school psychologist license.
- Masters or specialist degree in psychology, school psychology, or a related field.
Special Requirements:
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
- Expertise in psychological testing, counseling, and consulting within an educational environment.
